student membership
The Purpose of the Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley’s Student Program is to promote mutually beneficial interaction between HRM students and practitioners by providing:
- Engagement and interaction between current HR professionals and future HR talent in the Treasure Valley.
- Facilitation of transition to professional HR environment.
- Networking and educational opportunities for student members.
- Community involvement opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be attending a minimum of 6 college credit hours
- Demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Board of Directors a bona fide interest in human resource management and in the purposes of the Association
- Must be current SHRM Student Members or must apply for membership at the time of submitting their application.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:- Student Members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold an Officer position in the Association.
- There shall be no annual dues application to this class of membership.
- HRATV members holding any form of a current HRATV professional, associate, life, or affiliate membership are not eligible to convert to student membership until their next renewal cycle.
- No one member shall be a Student Member for more than 6 years, nonconsecutive.
