The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to announce the December membership program, “Emerging Workforce Study - Workplace Transformation: Navigating the New Normal” presented by Lynn Billing. Amid a continuously shrinking talent pool, the rising power of workers has created new challenges for employers. With demands that go well beyond traditional concerns about pay, benefits and work/life balance, business leaders today must adjust to worker expectations relating to business practices, transparency, diversity and inclusion and more. Steeped in more than 20 years of research into the motivations and beliefs of the American workforce, the Emerging Workforce®Study, commissioned by Spherion, offers insights to inform new approaches to the array of challenges in how to effectively recruit, engage and retain the talent needed to grow and prosper.

Takeaways include:

  • Why shifts in where and how work is performed can influence corporate culture, communications and collaboration
  • How to boost the value of an employer brand and create a strategic talent advantage through new approaches in areas such as training and development, community outreach and diversity and inclusion
