The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to present the February program, "Emerging Human Resources Trends in the Wake of #MeToo" presented by Bobbi Dominick.  #MeToo has been on our minds for nearly eighteen months. One result: a heightened focus upon organizational prevention efforts and complaint response.  What trends are we seeing?  This presentation will explore new developments and trends such as: (1) a focus on enhancing policies to prevent harassment by targeting disrespectful behavior and bullying, and enhancing reporting options to encourage complaints; (2) a focus on the effectiveness of training, enhancing training, and including issues like bullying, unconscious bias, and bystander intervention; (3) improving harassment response by examining practices for investigation, including those that will enhance the ability to assess situations, as well as efforts to assure that our investigative responses enhance our respectful workplace culture.

Bobbi Dominick, JD, SHPR, SHRM-SCP has practiced in the harassment and human resources area for over three decades.  Her current practice includes working with employers on prevention systems, training, conducting external complaint investigations and serving as an expert witness on harassment prevention response efforts.
