The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to present the February program, “Three Keys To Designing a Significantly More Effective Training Program" presented by HRATV member Steve Robertson, PhD. As the leader of a global organizational and leadership development program at Hewlett Packard for 7 years, Steve and his team developed and delivered more than 250 training courses on a variety of leadership, general professional, and functional topics. Through these experiences, Steve learned what it takes to deliver learning experiences that create lasting behavioral change and performance improvement, and he is excited to share this information with our members. In this session, participants will discover three common causes of ineffective training efforts, and learn practical approaches to overcome these in their own organization.

Dr. Steve Robertson is an organizational and leadership development consultant and coach who helps leaders bring out the best in their people to deliver extraordinary results. Steve believes that organizations who invest in developing their people – and who do it well – will enjoy significant advantages in terms of engagement, retention, performance, and results. For seven years, Steve led a global organizational and leadership development program at Hewlett Packard where his team designed and delivered more than 250 employee development programs for employees at all levels within the organization. Steve is the principal and founder of Bluebridge Consulting Group, a boutique consulting practice specializing in leadership development and performance improvement.
